What Others Are Saying
A basic testimonial,
instructive, and not overstated book regarding acne. When you read
this book, you will be amazingly surprised at the easy-to-do
solutions he has to get rid of your acne problem. Author Chris

DO NOT BUY THAT BOOK. I
have read every single e-book on acne that exists, I have bought 12
of them, and only 1 of them helped me out. That book, acne free in 3
days, is total junk. It is filled with hogwash that they learned
online, but has no real substance. Yahoo Answers post
it just says to eat
apples for 3 days and absolutly nuthing else your bassically
starving exept for apples thats it and you have to do enemas wich is
not verry fun but i did it anyway and it was complete waste of time
i noticed a slight different in my skin but it was deffanatly not
worth it Yahoo Answers post
I bought the e-book
for acne free in 3 days. It was a great cleansing process. Most of
the inflamation went down on my face, but it is not BY FAR a cure
for acne. I was emailing Chris, the inventor, questions during the
process and he was very helpful, responding to my emails within 24
hours. Once the treatment was over I emailed him politely saying
that I didn't really see any results, wandering if he could
recommend anything else. I got an email back 2 weeks later
saying-Sorry everyone is different. I have sent 4 emails and left
several messages since then inquiring about the "money back
guarantee" and I have yet to receive a reply. It's been two months.
I do understand that acne treatments don't work the same for
everyone, but this treatment is kind of shady--it is not
specifically for acne. It is for total body cleansing. I wish I
would have known that before I wasted $40. And the money back
guarantee is a complete joke. I would be weary of this
product. Forum post
I also bought the
book and wrote a review of it to my website. They basically ask you
to do a mini-fast by eating nothing but apples for 3 days. It's
likely that it will help with your acne on a short term basis, but 3
days apple fast is by no means enough to completely cure you. It's a
step into the right direction though. Forum

Acne Free in 3
Days is a book written by former acne
sufferer Chris Gibson, who guarantees, as the title suggests,
that the program he offers will clear up your acne in 3
days.
The basic program apparently
combines a diet of apples only for three days plus enemas to flush
out your system.
Gibson admits that the claim
that his program will get rid of acne in 3 days sounds overstated,
impossible and too good to be true. But he stands by what he says,
within certain limits (see Return
Policy below).
But make no mistake: Gibson's
acne program is highly controversial (See What Others Are Saying in the column at
left).
Gibson’s sales page details his
own decade-long battle with severe acne and how, once he devised his
system, his malady disappeared in 3 days and his self-image was
restored.
Indeed, his program is promoted
as a cure for low self-esteem and self-confidence as much as a cure
for acne. The two, he asserts, go hand in hand.
He describes his program as the
“only proven, holistic way to heal, restore, and have beautiful,
clear skin.” He adds that the all-natural program “is the practical
way to repair your self-esteem and increase your
confidence.”
Basically, Acne Free in
3 Days does away with the “lotions, pills, creams, and
conventional medical treatments and their side effects that acne
sufferers throw at their condition every day without
results.”
Instead, Gibson says, “You will
learn what things you are doing that contribute to chronic acne and
what simple steps to take to stop them. When traditional medical
methods fail with any disease, like many people I have learned we
must go within to effect a cure.”
Finally, Gibson says his program
works for all skin types and colors, and for adults as well as
teens. And he claims there are no side effects.

Our Research
Results
Discussion: Given the overwhelmingly
negative consumer response online to Acne Free in 3
Days, it is impossible for us to do anything but give the
product a poor buy-rating.
This,
despite the boatload of favorable testimonials about the product on
Chris Gibson's sales page. One expects to see those kind of
testimonials on a sales page, and they should be take with a fairly
large grain of salt.
Acne Free in 3 Days seems to
be a case of "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably
is."
Which is
not to say that the product cannot be of help to some people. Acne
is an extremely complex condition, and we are not in a position to
say that Gibson's solution might not be a cure for some.
Nonetheless, we think Acne Free in 3
Days merits only a one-star rating.
