Truth About Abs

What Users Are Saying

The Truth About Abs was something totally different to anything I had tried before. It was, and still is, the best book on ab training that I've ever read and if you follow it, you will also see the same fantastic results that I did (and continue to experience to this day)

Actually, I used the truth about abs program about 5 or 6 months ago and loved it... I think I was weighing in at about 230 lbs or so when I started and had a big gut... after about 2 months, I had dropped to about 202 lbs, but was actually stronger at the same time. I slacked off for a little while and gained some weight back, but I'm happy to say that I'm back on the program strong now and getting great results again... I wouldn't say I have a six pack yet, but I finally dropped under 200 lbs for the first time in over a decade and I feel better than ever. My gut is almost gone fully. I def give the truth about abs my recommendation for anyone that wants to lose some extra belly fat in a sensible way.

The Truth About Abs

The Truth About Abs is a top-selling program on the Internet that promises to help you lose body fat and “uncover those six pack abs.”

The program, written by Mike Geary, a certified nutrition specialist and personal trainer, is based on diet and exercises. It is designed for women as well as men.

Geary’s plan comes to you via an ebook that you download off the Internet to your computer.

Geary says his plan “really works” because it offers “REAL workouts and REAL nutrition.”

He blasts health foods that “are actually cleverly disguised junk foods,” and he says ab exercises such as crunches, sit-ups and ab machines are the “least effective method of getting flat six pack abs.”

Geary also says repetitive cardio exercises routines are not the best way to lose body fat, and he says “extreme fat burner” pills are a waste of money.

Finally, he says “ab belts, ab-rockers, ab-loungers, and other infomercial ab-gimmicks … are all a complete waste of your time and money.”

Geary does not prescribe lengthy daily sessions in a gym. He recommends 30- to 45-minute workouts 2 or 3 times a week. His program is guaranteed.

Our Research Results

Discussion: Nearly all sales pages promoting ClickBank products tend to be glitzy and given to hyperbole. The Truth About Abs sales page is no exception. It's unfortunate, but ClickBank merchants obviously believe that if they are to succeed in today's dog-eat-dog marketplace, they have to hit high, hard and often.

That said, it is readily apparent that if a poll were to gauge which products most nearly live up to their hype, The Truth About Abs would rank right up near the top.

How else would you explain the fact that The Truth About Abs has maintained its No. 1 best-selling position at ClickBank for so long? Or that the vast majority of customers say in unsolicited comments that this program indeed does do what it says it will?

But before we rate The Truth About Abs, we should lay out a couple of caveats:

** The Truth About Abs overdelivers. Normally that would be a good thing, but keep this in mind: There is more information in this program than you are likely to be able to absorb and put into practice. Mike Geary, the author, is somewhat of a genius, and he gives you all nine yards. The trick is not to try to master everything he teaches, but to do as much as you comfortably can. In other words, don't expect perfection out of yourself, because you're probably going to come up somewhat short of that. And that is perfectly OK.

** On the other hand, don't waste your money on The Truth About Abs if you aren't committed to giving it your best shot. Don't buy the program and then work out a few times and quit. Or worse, buy the program and let it sit on your hard drive to collect dust. You will get out of this program exactly as much as you put into it. The Truth About Abs requires discipline and consistency, but it is not brutally hard -- 30- to 45-minute workouts two or three times a week.

Our conclusion is that The Truth About Abs deserves a 5-star rating, which is our very highest recommendation, one we rarely give out.
